This is a painting that I showed at Aqua at Art Basel Miami 2017 at Projects Gallery. It depicts an extinct Carolina Parakeet flying with an endangered Florida Panther. It is based on a Marc Chagall painting that is sometimes called, “Birthday.” This painting is called, “Is This Love?” It is part of a series, “We are One” based on a spiritual, inspirational vision that I literally saw as I looked out into my backyard. I heard the words “ We are one” during the vision. -C. Wiley
